Spring has Sprung

Spring has come to our little corner of the world, and with it the promise of vegetables fresh from our garden.

Tomatoes, cauliflower, cabbage, spring onions and capsicum all grow waiting to be used.

In the far corner are grape vines, soon to be heavy with fruit.

Behind them sit fig trees. One black and one white, or Adam and Eve figs as they're known. Parrots will fill the boughs nibbling at the bounty and, if we're lucky, leaving us one or two for jam.

I love the rich, earthy smell of newly turned dirt.

Don't you?

Has Spring come to visit you?
